In these how should i put it slow economic times or I dont have a job times, I'm looking out for good deals. The best deal is an apple and a sandwich for lunch and chicken pasta for dindin every day but other than that I've been looking for a good happy hour in my new city of LA. Ive been meaning to go to the Edison in Downtown LA for a while now. It is basically an old power plant, the decor and even the absinthe fairies bring a real old time feel. I recently found out they have Friday "soup kitchen" Happy Hour where you can get 35 cent cocktails and free grilled cheese and soup. That sounds like a screaming deal if you ask me!
Then in between where I live and Culver there is a place called The Mandrake where during happy hour you can get a PBR and a Whiskey chaser for 5 bones. (or a shot of whiskey with a PBR for a chaser) I'm always on the look out for a good happy hour!
You can get $2.50 millers at Big Wangs when The Lakers are playing and on tuesdays its $3 margs and $1 tacos
I've also been on the hunt for a Denim Repair place to get a favorite pair tended to and there happens to be a denim specialist 5 minutes away. I'm going to drop my jeans off tomorrow and hopfully get them back after my DC trip next week.
