One of my good friends Dan Gutt (who is in the film industry) was telling me about this new amazing camera called RED that was going to revolutionize HD video and photography. I had no idea what he was talking about but after doing some research and having a few conversations with people. I think we're going to see a lot more of this on photoshoots. With all media turning digital people are expecting to see more video and with RED you can shoot constantly and pull a frame out of the video and its good enough quality to put on the front of a magazine! Pretty cool. The Canon 5d mark II shoots HD video as well. So we are going to see a lot of campaigns that are from the same shoot with short video clips for web advertising.
